Janice Wilson was born in Trinidad and Tobago on December 6, 1941, to the union of Christopher Charles (deceased) and Elaine Carter (deceased).
Janice passed away peacefully at the age of 84 on Saturday, January 3, at 2:00 p.m., with her loving family by her side.
She was a loving and devoted wife to her beloved husband, Edward Luke Wilson, who predeceased her in August 2022. Janice and Edward shared over 57 beautiful years of marriage.
A cherished mother to Jackie (Kim), Jillian (Warren), and Nigel (Natalie).
A devoted and proud grandmother to LaToya, Myles, Milan, Morgan, Ethan, Paris, Quinton, and Josh.
A treasured great-grandmother to Samia, Zayn, Ayah, and Yari.
Janice is lovingly remembered by her siblings: Kenny, Yvette, Wayne (deceased), Carl, and Eric.
Known simply as "Grandma" to millions around the world, Janice had a rare gift for making people feel loved, welcomed, and seen. Her humour was effortless, her laughter unforgettable and family meant everything to her.
Family and friends will be received for a chapel service on Saturday, January 17, at 2:00 p.m at Accettone Funeral Home, 384 Finley Avenue, Ajax, Ontario.
