Desmond Anthony Vieira
20 December, 1932 - 3 October, 2025
It is with great sadness that the family of Desmond Vieira announce his passing on Friday, October 3, 2025 at the age of 92. Desmond will be remembered by his son, Rich Vieira (Jodi Vieira); granddaughter, Jenna Vieira (Bailey McInnis); siblings, Vicki Scallon, Monica Murray (Winston Murray), and Joan Dawson; and numerous other family members and friends. He was predeceased by his siblings, Martin Vieira (Lynda Wade) and Marie Sardinha (Frank Sardinha).
A requiem mass will be held on October 18, 2025 at St. Bernadette's Church (21 Bayly Street East, Ajax) at 11:00 AM.

Desmond was a resident at Ballycliffe in his later years of life. Desmond and myself, as his PSW, built a unique relationship where we found ourselves having personal conversations, laughing together, and always finding a way to make our time together feel like we knew each other for years! Desmond will be deeply missed, but I am very fortunate to have met him, I wish I knew him longer. Many condolences to the family, Desmond Vieira was one of a kind.
